Description

This chopping board is made from English Elm and Purpleheart. The English Elm was locally grown here in Canterbury, New Zealand although the Purpleheart is an imported timber. This hand made chopping board is approx 310mm long x 265mm wide x 22mm thick and weighs in the region of 1.2kg.
As a finish, this English Elm and Purpleheart chopping board has been given a generous coat of food grade mineral oil to prep the board followed by a coat of the 100% food-safe mineral oil and beeswax mixture.
At the moment there is only one of these boards but I can make more.
