Description

This Duck Ornament, in the style of a Shelduck, is cut from a piece of Nanking Siberian Cherry (a type of domestic fruiting cherry) which came a local farm. The slice of heartwood showing on one face gives it a character look on that side whereas the other side of the ornament is plain.
Overall it is 200mm tall x 150mm wide x 18mm thick and it stands staight and tall.
It is finished with two coats of the 100% food-safe mineral oil and beeswax mixture.
There is only the one of these ornaments but I could make others in different woods if requested.
